day 5

Today morning woke up at 7am.
went to a field trip. mild steel factory . it is sooooooooooo big !! really big!
we start walking from the start till the end.

took us about 15 minutes .its so HOT inside. Like sauna!

i’m really impressed by their “never say die “ attitude.

Earning so little of money but they did their best!

during the trip in the factory, the person in charge don’t allow us to take photo .

but! Shh! I took some. Hahaha.
went back to WUST.
off to have my breakfast at a shop near the street .this time, we eat halal food.
but! the person inside is Chinese.
they sell mee. i ate 鸡蛋干捞面. the look of it like spaghetti.
hahas. but i think the drink is nice.
its like those olden days bottle drink.
the whole meal cost me 8 rmb ( 1 bowl of mee,2 bottle of marinde orange)
so its like $1.64
after eating, saw a cute bear. cost 22 rmb.
this time round , i try to bargain. so is 20 rmb lor.($4.11)
my skill still not very good. i will improve as day goes.
outside is raining now. for the past few days. it is raining.
sebas jus now help me and yuting wash our clothes.
she say that 我知道洗衣服的辛苦了！hahas.
now i am watching hk drama which zhen guang save for me! :)

day 4

Today is the first day for IS. It is conducted by the teacher in WUST.
The name of the teacher is call 小玲.
She is a friendly teacher.
From her face of expression, I can see that she looks forward to teach us.
Her teaching method is quite the same as Singapore.
She want us to treat her like a friend and talk.
Feel free to ask her question.
She even gave us white paper to drop down any question that we would like to ask.
Hahas. So we wrote down lots of question.
Like where is the longest historical place in wuhan?
In her lecture today , she taught us the history,geographic,culture,food,festival.
After hearing her lesson, I can get a brief idea how china is like.
And guess what? CHINA IS REALLY BIGG!!! Omg!!
Oh ya! Ms xiao ling today say that the 3 gorges Dam(3 days 2 night) that we are going soon is a very good opportunity because some of the places will be taken off.
It will be along 长江.this river is really long.
It is just a mini small size compared to the Singapore river.
honestly, eventhough it’s the first lesson of Is.
Everyone is tired, slept in the LT for 15 minutes during the break.
There will be a total of 5 lecture. 20 hours of lesson.
After the lesson , we went to the canteen to try the food.
No matter what , we must try the food.
If we don’t try the food, we will waste the 100 rmb.
The canteen is like a factory canteen , it is much more bigger than our school canteen.
But for the food.
I am not used to it.
they used metal bowl,small spoon,wooden chopstick.
while ordering our food, there might be some communication break down.
I think is the slang of our speaking.what can I do?
I just keep nodding my head and agree with them.
haha. the hygiene there is also so different from Singapore.
Though they keep mopping the floor , but the food stain, oil stain is still there.
Because of this, I start to nag. My sister start to scold me for my inappropriate action.
I now I am wrong. I might be too pampered in Singapore.
This is really a great challenge for me .
learning to overcome difficulties and be inderpendent.
Learning to adapt to the environment is a big challenge for me.
I haver never been out of singaporebefore and also never leave my family .
therefore, I believe that through this trip , I will be more sensible and also gain more experience.
After the lunch, me and my room mates went back to the hostel.
Hahas. Guess what we do next?? SLEEP!
We slept for 3 hours.trying to gain back more energy.
We hang our clothes at the balcony.
While we sleeping soundly at around 5pm, I heard car’s horn. It is continuously horn.
I woke up , quickly went out to have a look. Its raining, I quickly keep the clothes.
The clothes are dry! This is also our first time using hand wash .
it took us a lot of effort.
we were so happy and contented that the clothes is clean and dry.
I believe that all this experience is precious.
It is not a thing, it can’t be buy by money.
Went out as a group of 13 to the nearest restaurant . had our dinner there.
People were looking at us using a different view.
I think they were figuring where we come from.
Imagine? A group of teenagers walking into the restaurant at night.
Hahas.we are 有钱的小富翁! Hahas. Anway , the food is not expensive.
We ask them to put less salt but its still salty and spicy! Really hot.
The total bill is 300 plus rmb which is $60 plus.
Then after divided into 13 share, everyone just need to pay $6 . cheap right?
Ok! I am turning off soon.

day 3

Another fast day has passed.
We had a tired day today.
we had our first lesson of business engineering process.
everyone is tired and shag.
After our exam in ngee ann,straight start of school again.
mr puah start giving us a brief summary of this module and also the marking scheme of it.
He would like us divide us into group of 3.
at the end if this module, we must give him a presentation.
After lesson.we went back to rest.a hour later, off we go to the street again.
This time roung is lead by our 2 helpful wuhan’s student.
They are really very helpful.
They remember our name and ask if we need any help.
They really played a good host in their country.
during the journey on the bus, we spot and realize a lot of thing.in wuhan , the busses is quite similar with Singapore bus.
But the cleanliness of it is different.
Another different such like , the bus is packed,but the people are still able to squezze up the bus no matter wad.in this trip , I can see their standard of living is quite different from Singapore. Along, the street there is rubbish on the floor, the enviroment,the people,the surrounding.
The first stop is the zhong shan gong yuan.it really looks like another escape in Singapore.
But this time , the place is big.
Bigger than Singapore’s escape 5 times.
They have nice scenery and also many games for you to try.
We took many many photos.
The people were keep staring at us.
As what mr puah had told us in the morning, we are different from them.
we can be spotted out easily.our gesture, our speaking,our dressing.
There is one incident that make me cant forget and scared is that there will be some poor people walking ,following you asking you for money.
They will just follow your back and stretch their hand out.
We were all freaked out. We were like being followed in the park.
however, this can’t be blame .
we cant look down on them . different place , have different culture.
We are just not use to it. We get to ride the roller coster and Vikings.
Its really fun! At around 4.30pm. we walked out the place.
We went to the shopping mall.
We have out for quite similar to Singapore.
oh ya! I know why china has so many talented sports player.
You know what! In WUST, there are 20 table tennis table in the park, 10 badminton court.
In the shopping mall which we shop today.
They have badminton court too. they have about 20 courts.
Whenever they are free, I think they will go and play sports .
this is their leisure.
The food here might be salty and oily but they have enough exercise.
daisy and li xuan who is our two china tour guide told us that , they don’t eat so often.
They have a habit like: eat when during dinner time.
They have a fixed timing.
They also have a trend like girls will stay at home tidy the house, for guys will be out to work
I think this mindset or view is different in Singapore.
I think women in Singapore in getting more independent and want to work outside.
That’s why inflation. China wont have this problem.
For dinner, we were brought to a shop which sell local food.
They have zha jiang mian, zi ma mian ,etc . beside food, their drink also has different variety . two deep impression of drink is read bean and green bean!
Its like finally something we know how to drink!
Its around 9pm,Everyone sat in a group of 4 back to school.
For my group , we alight opposite of the school as the driver say he cant u turn.
While we cross the road , the car were coming from both direction.
It is really very dangerous to cross the road.
After reaching the hostel, I went to have a bathe and sleep!
I think everyone of us enjoy the day and would like to explore more.
We are starting to get use to the surrounding!
