Second day has arrived.
Guess what ? me and my roommates slept till 8 .10 am. The others who is staying next door woke up at 7am and has already get ready. WE ARE LATE!! Because we late, we missed our breakfast. Its our fault, cannot blame. My roommates quickly gets our butt up and change.
Our first event off the day is the opening ceremony . WUST in charge were there to welcome us. We went to a lecture theatre. The theatre is not as nice as ours in ngee ann but it is really the best for them there. All type of facilities is there but is not those high technology type. I know that it is wrong to compare but its normal thinking . the speech made by the vice principle who welcome is really solid and strong impact. Their speech have the style of saying it strongly to bring out the impact. Besides the welcoming speech, they also have the teacher in charge of us to tell us the do and don’t .it is really helpful. One funny part which the speaker has brought up.the speaker say that the water in wuhan , you must boil until it is really 100 degress. “ fei teng teng” . it mean that it must be boil2-3 times!
After the speech , mr puah brought us to the street again. Off we go to buy our necessities. It is really not easy to buy household product.factors to be taken such as : which product is the cheapest? ; what product is useful ?;where to buy the product? AR!@!!!! We are like aunties ! Hahas. On the other hand, we learnt to be independent,learning to make decision . this is what I want to learn during this trip. Beside then just studying.studying.
oh ya! know what? After buying the stuff, our stomach finally call the signal! Hungry! And the main thing come! We bought macdonald take over. From the very first day when we reach wuhan,we ate mac.2nd day ,mac again! I am really scared off it.
Had a trip down to the other street today.with mr puah and also other members. My sis stayed in the hostel as she is tired.i did not accompany her as I want to explore more and take photos.while I was walking down the street,I start to realize that Singaporean are really very luckily.lucky in the sense that, they have clean environment,orderly traffic,proper attire and many more. Maybe one thing Singapore cant compare with them is that the closeness of family.
In wuhan, I saw many family household sitting outside or near the road, eating ,drinking or gambling. They are like a one big cosy family. They have their more freedom .actually the main objective for me to go down to street with mr puah is to get our international sim card. In order to get the card, we as a group walked down the loooooooong street. From one phone shop to the other , many times.
FINALLY, we cant stand the hot weather . I bought a cold bottle coke, the rest bought ice cream.we spent about 2-3 hours to get our stuff done. After this experience, I think that we can suggest to the school to get ready the card before hand then wasting time. More things can be done, instead of us just stonning there. Yining and xuan xuan fall asleep. We are deadbeat. The distance walking from the street back to the hostel is really long. Like a 12 minutes journey.
During the journey , you must be very careful of the cars. They are so scary. Its like their road! No law! Anywhere they want, if there is a way.
Tomorrow is willis birthday, we as group. We gave him a birthday bash.girls all went into a room , bringing our pillows along. There is no cake. But we just prepare a small slice cake which can be bought in the shop. I think all of us enjoy a lot . and there is still 40 days to go!! JIA YOU!!
Going to take cruise on Thursday ! see ya! J

day 1
Today is a long day
didn’t get to sleep at all as I am busy packing my bag.
I miss my family.
Time is getting near and my heart is getting sadder.
However, I fall asleep at 3am.but 3.30am, I was woke up by my mother went to bathe.
Hop up my uncle car.
Off my journey to the changi airport.
Reading my younger sister‘s letter which she wrote to me.i cried. Cried non – stop.
Eyes went swollen.
Besides my family ,my camp friends and classmates.
I really feel touched.many photos is taken .
it is to let us think of them when we are on the other country.
i felt very excited when I was about to board up the airplane.
Food was not really nice on the plane.
Disappointed.
On the journey to guang zhou , our first stop , my head go giddy~~ omg!!
Seriously, my head now is still giddy.really heavy feeling.
When we reach Guangzhou, I start to explore the environment .
compared with Singapore,it is really a big different.
Singapore is well organized, neat and clean.
I really miss Singapore .
I believe not only me, the other members too.
oh ya. suelyn lost her luggage.
But not really lost, but is mistaken by the other np student who has the same luggage as hers. Our guys in this group of 20 representing mde is quite gentleman.
Why I say so?
They will approach you if u are in need.
For example, heavy luggage, they will volunteer to help.
This is really very nice of them.
Imagine for the following 43 days, we as a group, will be having fun as we both can cooperate well with each other.
After hours and hours of flight.
We finally reach Wuhan!
Representatives of WUST came to welcome us.
they guide us on the bus ,telling us what they will do when we reach the school.
On the way to the school, I saw lots of funny stuff
such as, a uncle cycling ,carrying a big of recycled cardboard.
Impressive! the road was going on the left side,oneway.
But, there’s a motorbike just drive cross over to the other side.
Even though there is traffic but I don’t think the people there follows the rule.
Their lifestyle is different from Singapore.
In Wuhan, there is man without wearing any clothes walking down the street holding with a woman.
But for Singapore, it is totally inappropriate.
Second, there is a father feeding his baby son at the road side.
This is also a very big different point.
Maybe china is big, but there is still much more room of improvement for them.
There are too many people.
Unlike Singapore, there is a limit of citizens.
After all this exploration on the journey to WUST
.i reach the hostel. And is OMG!
I mean I can’t demand more.
It is really a high standard they provide us.
But, maybe I am used to Singapore life style.
I compare the difference out. 43 days!!
How am I going to go through this.
There is no toilet bowl,no tv,no internet, wooden bed, no washing machine!
And!!!! There is one thing! COCKCROACH!!Disgusting!!!
the girls I am sleeping with in the same room is yuting and my sis.
When yuting the cockcroach, she scream!
Sebas and I scream too!
We ran out of the room, asking our guys who is at the next door to save us!
They are so BRAVE!
They jus picked it up and throw it away! CLAP!!
I think that the following days for me in wuhan will be interesting and also memorable one!
